Giant Benign Mucinous Cystadenoma of Both Ovaries in Early Puerperium: Case Report and Review of Literature
Obrovský benigní mucinózní kystadenom obou ovarií v časném puerperiu: Popis případu a přehled literatury

Popis případu velkých kystadenomů obou ovarií diagnostikovaných po porodu.Typ studie:
Kazuistika.Název a sídlo pracoviště:
Porodnicko-gynekologická klinika, Fakultní nemocnice s poliklinikou Ostrava.Předmět studie:
35letá žena přichází dvanáctý den po spontánním porodu s příznaky náhlé příhody břišní při ultrazvukovém nálezu anechogenních útvarů vyplňujících celou abdominální dutinu. Při laparotomii jsou odstraněny nádory obou ovarií, každý velikosti 25x30 cm. Histologickým vyšetřením je potvrzený mucinózní kystadenom.Závěr:
Popsán je případ mimořádně velkých kystadenomů ovarií. Ovariální kystadenom byl příčinou náhlé příhody břišní v šestinedělí a vedl k diagnostickým a terapeutickým rozpakům.Klíčová slova:

Overview
Objective:
A case report of giant bilateral benign cystadenoma after vaginal delivery.Design:
Case report.Settings:
Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University Hospital Ostrava.Subject of study:
A 35-year-old woman twelve days after vaginal delivery was presented with symptoms of an acute abdomen. On ultrasonographic examination, the presence of a cyst filling the complete abdominal cavity. Bilateral cystic mass measuring 25x30 cm was removed by laparotomy. Subsequent histological examination revealed a benign mucinous cystadenoma.Conclusion:
A case of giant mucinous cystadenoma is presented with clinical and pathological details. An ovarian cystadenoma was the cause of an acute abdomen in puerperium and led to clinical and therapeutic disconcerment.Key words:
